Please read through this information carefully so that you are fully aware of our terms of doing business with you. We want you to be fully aware of our processes and procedures so that you are comfortable with them. Our intention has been to keep them simple and if there is anything you wish clarification on then please do contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We offer a range of discount codes, all of which are a one time use, unless you join the VIP Club. The VIP Club membership includes a discount code of 10% that can be used all year round. You do need to be a member of the club though!
Please be aware that our discount code are only applicable on full price bags. Codes cannot be used on items that are already bundled to offer a discount, Exclusive Edits or Outlet, or in conjunction with any other offer.
Discount codes are for single, one time use only, unless otherwise specified.
No discounts will be accepted on sale/outlet items.
Discounts cannot be applied retrospectively once order has been processed. If you forget to use a discount code, you can email us within 2 hours of your order being placed to alert us and we will do our best to refund you the discount amount if you provide the code. There will be a £2 admin fee deducted from the refunded amount.
Sarah Haran reserves the right to refuse discounts used out with required parameters.
We try and bring as much joy as possible through various offers and promotions, but please be aware that these are only valid during the stated time period and cannot be applied to purchases retrospectively.
Please be aware that complimentary gifts are limited to one per customer unless otherwise stated (such as if you are taking part in our complimentary bag promotion). Sarah Haran reserves the right to decline gifts if the terms and conditions of the promotion are not upheld by the customer.
We have taken all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products, colours of leather, size and measurements are as accurate as possible and are correct as of time of publishing. Prices do change and are subject to change without notice and all goods are subject to availability – we will always do our best to provide the goods of your choice.
Refer a Friend:
We want to help spread the joy through our referral scheme, but please be aware that you must already be a customer who has purchased a Sarah Haran handbag directly from us, prior to referring someone. If you successfully refer someone and they make a purchase based on your referral, we would be delighted to send you a thank you gift as a token of our appreciation.
The referral must purchase a handbag (outlet items are excluded) for the person referring them to qualify for the thank you gift.
We will do our best to accommodate holds. Unfortunately we cannot do any customer holds during the month of November as it is our busiest time. If you are paying at a later date, the payment required for the order is the amount advertised on date of reservation. No offers can retrospectively be applied between date of hold and fulfilment/payment.
Right to decline
When you place an order on our website, we shall acknowledge your order via email. We reserve the right to refuse an order particularly if we believe the order may be fraudulent. We will inform you by email if we decline an order.
Changing your mind
Goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or refund unless the products have been personalised with a monogram. This is in accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations. Refunds will only be made via the original payment method. Your statutory rights are not affected. Refer to our returns policy.

In order to send your product to you we collect, use, or store the following data about you:
- Identity Data includes [first name, maiden name, last name, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender].
- Contact Data includes billing address, delivery address, email address and telephone numbers
- Financial Data including bank account and payment card details stored on the Shopify platform which we have no access to
- Transaction Data including details about payments to and from you and other details of products and services you have purchased from us

- Profile Data including your username and password, purchases or orders made by you, preferences, feedback and survey responses
- Usage Data including information about how you use our website
- Marketing and Communications Data including your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
We collect data from and about you through direct interactions with you. For instance, you may give us your personal information by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by post, phone, email or otherwise. This includes personal data you provide when you:

- subscribe to our service or publications;

- remind you of what you may be missing if you have put items in your "Shopping Bag" on the Website and

Receiving contact from us:
From time to time, we may send you aftercare e-mails relating to your Sarah Haran product. We may also send you e-mails with information in relation to any products which are similar to your product, and which we think you might like. We will only send you e-mails with information in relation to any other products, special offers or competitions, if you have agreed that we can (sometimes referred to as an "opt-in"). You can sign up to receive notifications by e-mail on our home page. If you have registered for an account with us, and when shopping online on the Website, you have put items in your "Shopping Bag" and then abandoned them, we may send you e-mails to remind you of what you may be missing.
In any case, you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by contacting us on email@example.com or by using the unsubscribe option in each e-mail.
You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message we send you at any time.
Where you opt out of receiving these marketing messages, this will not apply to personal data provided to us as a result of a product purchase, guarantee registration, or other transactions.
We will disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so.
Our Platform and Processing:
Our online store is hosted by Shopify Inc. Shopify provide the online e-commerce platform that allows Sarah Haran to sell our products and services. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. Shopify store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. If you chose to pay using Paypal then Paypal will store your information in order to complete the payment transaction. Via Shopify there are appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed. Our store uses Google Analytics to help us learn about who visits our site and what pages are being looked at.
We care about your personal data and know that you trust us to keep it secure. To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. All information is held on the Shopify Platform and if you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards though we cannot guarantee the security of your personal data on transmission via the internet
Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our Website (for example, for your Sarah Haran account), you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone.
