Welcome to VV Amore where we love handbags! The VV Amore concept was created because of my obsession for having the perfect handbag where you could store all your “stuff” and find it easily without constantly digging about in the dark interior of a handbag with a poorly thought out interior.  Despite all my searching I could never easily find “The Handbag, my IT bag” - the one that I could use for every day, taking me from work to home and out to play, the one that had enough pockets, had adjustable straps, had space for me to organise all my junk, was practical but also stylish and a little bit different, was well priced and didn’t require a mortgage to purchase and I could change to without reorganising where I stored all the things I wanted to carry in my handbag!

So having designed clothes and interior accessories for years I decided to save the time on searching for a perfect handbag and invest the time in designing myself the perfect practical handbag that was timeless and chic with a really good interior that allowed me to organise all my stuff! After much thought, many samples made, tested and binned, and sourcing of suppliers a range of chic everyday handbags began to emerge! To make sure I was able to create the handbags correctly I did a few accessory design courses at the local university – (thanks to the Met) , a design studio in London (where I spent a week with the ex Mulberry Creative Director one on one) and a leather goods and handbag manufacturer in Ireland (Holden Handbags) so that I felt confident  about designing and making handbags for other people.

Once I started to get requests from friends, family and friends of friends to make them one of my handbags, VV Amore was born – Versatile,  Vivacious,  Adorable handmade handbags that are stylish for your every day! Each handbag is handmade in our studio in Kilmacolm in Scotland  using the very best of leathers and components sourced from a range of  major leather wholesalers and manufacturers.  We focus on producing contemporary stylish and timeless (but never boring) every day handbags with interiors that really allow you to  organise all your stuff for quick retrieval. Our handbags are also designed to be adaptable for different ways of wearing them. We encourage visitors to our studio to browse our range, or to create their own “IT handbag”  or if you cannot visit then our online ordering website is the perfect 24 by 7 handbag shopping heaven.
